Each sample includes helpful callouts and explanations to guide you through each section of your bill. Use them to learn where to find important details like your usage history, account number, and payment options.

  1. This is your unique Account Number. The number following the dash is a check digit that helps ensure your payment is processed correctly. Please remember to include your full account number with your payments to avoid delays.
  2. This section provides your meter readings, service dates, and natural gas usage for the current billing period. Natural gas is measured in hundreds of cubic feet, or “CCFs.” For your reference, the graph displays your gas consumption over the past 13 months.
  3. The Bill Date is when your bill was generated and the Due Date is when your payment is expected.
  4. This section shows your current rate type and the associated charges. For a full explanation of our rates and how they are calculated, please click here.
  5. This section outlines the details of your current charges, including gas service, any equipment rental or service charges, and any applicable taxes.
  6. Your Actual Account Balance is calculated by adding the current charges to any previous balance and subtracting any payments received.
  7. The payment stub provides a summary of the charges on your account, including the Total Amount Due. If you are mailing your payment, please include the stub along with your check.
  8. The remittance address is an automated payment center with no access to your account information. Payments should be mailed to:

The Actual Account Balance shows what you would owe if you were not on the budget plan. However, under Budget Billing, you are only responsible for the budget amount listed on this bill, along with any rental, service, or miscellaneous charges.
