Through the VGS Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Program, customers can purchase the renewable attributes associated with RNG sourced from projects such as farms, landfills, and wastewater treatment facilities. Blended RNG represents renewable attributes acquired from a mix of RNG sources within VGS’s portfolio and provides a lower-cost participation option than Locally Sourced RNG.

The calculators below estimate the additional cost of participating in the RNG Program. These estimates represent the RNG adder that would appear on your bill and are in addition to your regular natural gas charges.

You can estimate costs in two ways:

  • Match a percentage of your annual natural gas usage with RNG (10%, 25%, 50%, or 100%).
  • Purchase a specific amount of RNG regardless of your natural gas usage.

Because these calculations use different inputs and participation methods, the estimated costs may differ.
