A.O. Smith and Lochinvar, in cooperation with State Industries and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), have issued a voluntary recall of certain condensing residential boilers. According to the manufacturer, the boiler’s flue collector may crack if the burner chamber experiences a high‑impact event. A cracked flue collector can allow carbon monoxide to escape, creating a serious safety hazard. While this is not a recall issued by our company, we want to ensure our natural gas customers are aware of this important safety notice.
