On the morning of September 24, 2024, a third-party excavator struck a gas line in the vicinity of 1891 Blakely Road in Colchester, Vermont. VGS was notified at 9:49am and crews immediately dispatched to the scene, where they turned off gas. Preliminary estimates suggest approximately 60 customers are impacted by the outage.
